Jurassic Bioballs, placed at the bottom of the terrarium, create a natural, clay sub-layer or water table. The bioball water table collects and retains water to maintain humidity levels, filters and recycles water, and promotes natural bacterial growth to biodegrade nitrogen/waste that leaches from above for a healthy, self contained, bioactive system. Use Jurassic Bio-Barrier to separate the "water table layer" from above substrates and soil.
